COVID-19 MADNESS : COMMUNITY VIIGIL WATCH AGAINST ROBBERS

The Convid-19 Viral Disease Palaver had been more than just a sickness. The extension of the Lockdown Measurement in Nigeria had brought more hunger and starvation to People. There had been more Robberies day in day out around the cities of Lagos and environs. On Sunday 12th of April, the President of Nigeria, President Mohammadu Buhari extended the Lockdown extra two weeks to control the spreading of the Corona Virus. The Corona Virus spread had been on so much increase without a decline, the infestation number is invariably proportional to the rate of discharged cases.

Nigerians staying at home during this Lockdown haven’t been finding life easy.

Few days ago, there was rumoured news that Robbers wrote letter warning the streets of their arrivals, One Million Boys the gang are referred as.

There was pandomium in a street away from ours. As the news got to my street, everyone became so alert.

Hearing this, about 8:30PM, no sleeping tonight, everyone acclaimed. For the past one week. The Landlords in the area have been keeping watch all through the nights, Making noises and gnashing Iron objects and farming tools to scare off intruders. We were right there, both old, young, feeble, boys, girls and women, came out to keep watch. No sleeping tonight was the theme. While, some yelled, “who dem be?” “Dem no dey fear?”

All manner of weapons you can think of, from Guns, knives, cutlasses, farming and kitchen tools was present there like roll call. The Community Neighbours have vowed to keep watch to beefing up security this way.

Writing this, the street is yet see Police Van nor hear the sound of siren. A call was made to the Lagos state Police control room reporting this, after trying all the numbers, one manage to go through. The situation was reported, the voice, responded they would reach out the area.

These areas have been so vulnerable to security threats these days, Ojodu Berger axis, Yakoyo, Ajuwon, Akute, Giwa, Olambe and more. It is advised that Security Agencies should take measures to drastically address the security challenge posed in these areas.

I Will Kill All Of You When I Return— Arrested cultist warns police officers

A criminal being arrested by the Nigerian Police Force has threatened the Police to kill them when he returns.

A cultist who is suspected to be an Aye Confraternity member warned the police men that apprehended him “‘if you know what’s good for you, just run away from this station because I’ll come back and when I do, I’ll kill all of you”
